This privacy policy has been unmerged and compiled seperately to better serve those concerned with how their data and private information is being used. ElixirNode's privacy policy is legally binding under Kuwaiti law, following law no.20 (e-commerce law) in protecting and handling your information. ElixirNode, whilst only obligated to abide by Kuwaiti law also aims to follow U.S laws concerning data protection. Please read this privacy policy carefully to understand how we collect, use, protect and otherwise handle your private information in accordance to our site.
→ How we collect your information and how long do we keep it
We collect your information through your registration on our site, placing an order or simply inputting your information on our site. Your information is kept with us for up to but not limited to 6 months, it can be deleted prior to that if it is requested to be deleted in the case it is no longer needed to prevent fraud.

ElixirNode collects personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, personal address, credit card information and/or other details to help you with your experience such as cookies and usage data. We use this information in order to:
• Prevent fraud.
• Maintain the quality of our services and website.
• To administer site features.
• To provide you with updates or coupons.
• To email you using our marketing email opt-in.

Your information, limited to your name, email address, personal address, phone number and financial information is protected. Other information submitted through our site such as your discord name is not protected and can be accessed by support agents. Protected information is not accessible except by limited number of persons who have special access and are required to keep this information confidential. All information you submit to us is encrypted through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and we implement multiple security layers in order to maintain the security of your information.

Yes, cookies are small files transferred to your computer's hard drive by a site (if you allow it). We use cookies to better help us improve our website experience and determine updates to the site in the future. Cookies are essential to allow you to experience the full interactive features provided by us and other websites you visit, cookies cannot be used harmfully and may not run programs or viruses on your computer.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise provide/transfer your information to any outside parties unless a notice in advance is provided by us. This excludes our partners and those who help us in running and conducting our services as well as allow us to fight fraud. Your information however will never be released unless we believe release is necessary to comply with law, enforce our policies, protect others' rights or if requested by law enforcement or the Kuwait ministry of commerce and industry.

As we aim to follow U.S law, children's information under 13 are put under parental control by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). However, we do not market to children under the age of 18 nor knowingly collect the information of any child under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has submitted their information to us, please contact support. We will not knowingly permit information of children under 18 to be stored by our system.

→ CAN-SPAM Act
As stated previously we are not obliged to follow U.S laws but rather Kuwaiti laws as that is the founding country of our company. However, we aim to follow U.S laws as well and as such we are in compliant with the U.S CAN-SPAM act. To maintain compliance with the CAN-SPAM act we agree to:
• Not use false or misleading header information or email addresses.
• Not use deceptive subject lines.
• Provide our physical location within Kuwait.
• Allow you to freely and easily have the option to opt-in or opt-out of marketing emails.
• Honor any cancellation of services and opt-outs instantly or within the time you chose.
• Monitor what our partners, sales reps and others are doing on our behalf if they are officially connected to ElixirNode.

The e-commerce law no.20 requires personal data to be retained privately and confidentially, ElixirNode abides by this as required by law.
→ Kuwaiti Law
Although ElixirNode is only legitimately required to follow Kuwaiti law, we understand that Kuwait does not have any specific personal data protection laws as the whole idea of internet laws seems to still be relatively new to the Kuwait assembly. Due to this, we aim to follow U.S data laws as well in order to ensure the best for our consumers in terms of privacy.
